Aagaard Fertility Clinic is one of the most well-equipped and technologically advanced IVF centers in Denmark. Established in 2004, Aagaard is now a part of the Virtus Healthcare Group and is accredited by the Danish Healthcare Quality Program.

Virtus Health has collaborated with Vitrolife of Sweden AB, to develop an artificial intelligence system (iDA) to analyze large amounts of data to study the eggs during the first five days of their development. Their laboratory manager studied in her PhD the possible connection between the rupture of sperm DNA strand and its ability to fertilize an egg.
Aagaard is the first and only IVF clinic in Denmark to offer pre-implantation genetic testing. They have also introduced a unique blood test to check the genetic profile of the fetus instead of just relying on CVS.
