German patient conceives with IVF+PGT

A 38 year old female from Germany, reported with heterozygous Factor V Leiden mutation and a desire to expand her family.

The patient of German descent had a heterozygous Factor V Leiden mutation. She already had 3 boys with her husband but wanted to expand her family. The partner was 42 years old.

We held an online consultation and gave her a timeline according to their schedule. She was advised on medicines for the Antagonistic IVF protocol followed by genetic testing of embryos.

We also added to the vitamins and supplements she was already taking.

As soon as they arrived at our clinic, we were able to conduct initial tests and start with the stimulation protocol. She had over 10 follicles developing and we got some healthy eggs.

We performed PGT and transferred one healthy embryo, which took.
