Former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton got pregnant with endometriosis while she was on a dance reality show.
“I knew I had the right partner; I knew I wanted to be a mum. I didn’t give up hope, but it wasn’t happening.”
She was diagnosed with endometriosis in her mid-20s just after her popular music band ‘Spice Girls’ decided to split.
Emma and her fiancé, former Damage vocalist, Jade Jones, tried for a baby for around five years before they finally got pregnant.
The pop star found out about her pregnancy while she was competing on the UK TV dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing in 2006 and she thinks the dance regime and exercise probably helped.
Interestingly, she did not even know but her doctor saw on the television holding her hands over her stomach and had a feeling she was pregnant.
Emma was “absolutely ecstatic” on seeing her positive pregnancy text and said that discovering that for the first time was “the best feeling in the world.”
They ended up having two sons, four years apart.

I remember reading about Emma Bunton opening up about her endometriosis diagnosis years ago. She was told in her mid-20s that it could make getting pregnant difficult, and she admitted the news really affected her emotionally at the time.
What’s interesting is that she still ended up having two children naturally, even after being warned about possible fertility problems. She also mentioned that around the time she did Strictly Come Dancing, she became much more active physically and later felt that the healthier lifestyle may have helped her overall wellbeing and fertility.
Her story is honestly a good reminder that endometriosis doesn’t automatically mean someone can’t get pregnant. It can make things harder for some women, but every case is different.
