Our methodology

How we list clinics, verify reviews, monitor provider behavior, and source the data behind every profile on this platform.

Infertility Aide is an international fertility clinic and doctor comparison platform. This page explains exactly how we decide which providers are listed, how patient reviews are collected and verified, and how we source and present clinical data. We publish this because patients deserve to know where the information they are relying on comes from.

How clinics and doctors are listed

Any clinic or doctor operating in our supported countries can apply to be listed on Infertility Aide. Listing is not based on advertising spend, referral fees, or paid placement. Providers do not pay to appear, and payment does not influence ranking or visibility.

We list providers because patients need a complete picture of their options, not a curated selection shaped by commercial relationships. Our goal is to surface the best providers, not the ones with the largest marketing budgets.

How we monitor and remove providers

Being listed on Infertility Aide is not permanent. We track how clinics and doctors treat patients throughout their journey, using feedback from patients who have been through the process.

Providers whose behavior falls below the standards our patients report are removed from the platform. This is an ongoing process, not a one-time check. A clinic that performs well early and poorly later will be removed based on the current picture of patient experience.

No clinic or doctor can pay to stay on the platform or to remove negative feedback. Listing status is determined entirely by patient outcomes and experience.

How patient reviews are verified

Only patients who receive fertility treatment through Infertility Aide can submit a review. This is a hard requirement, not a guideline. We do not accept reviews from patients who self-report treatment at a clinic without going through our platform.

This approach eliminates the most common vector for fake reviews: document submission. Other platforms allow patients to submit a clinic document as proof of treatment, which is trivially easy to fabricate or obtain without having been a patient. We do not use this method.

Because we facilitate the patient-clinic connection, we know when a patient has engaged with a provider. A review can only be submitted when that connection exists in our system.

Separate clinic and doctor ratings

Clinics and doctors are reviewed and rated independently. A patient's experience with their doctor is captured separately from their experience with the clinic as an organization.

This matters because a doctor may move between clinics, and a clinic may change its medical team. When a doctor leaves a clinic, their reviews and ratings remain with them, not with the clinic. Patients following a specific doctor's track record can do so accurately over time, regardless of where that doctor practices.

Likewise, clinic ratings reflect the organization's performance — administration, communication, care coordination, and patient experience — independent of which individual doctor performed the treatment.

Success rate data

Success rates on Infertility Aide are currently sourced from clinic-reported data. Clinics provide their outcome figures, which we display alongside the context needed to evaluate them, including patient age ranges and treatment types where available.

We are in the process of transitioning to outcome-based success rates drawn from verified patient data collected through our own platform. As patients complete treatment cycles and report outcomes, this data will replace clinic-reported figures for providers with sufficient verified patient volume.

We will clearly indicate on each profile which data source applies: clinic-reported or verified patient outcomes. Patients should use current success rate figures as one data point among many, not as a definitive measure of a clinic's performance.

Geographic scope

Infertility Aide is an international platform. We currently support patients seeking treatment across multiple countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, Denmark, and Cyprus, among others. Our scope is not limited to any single country or region.

Country-specific legal frameworks, clinic licensing requirements, and treatment regulations vary significantly. Where relevant, we note these differences on location pages so patients understand the legal and clinical context before making decisions.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment for clinic placement, rankings, or visibility. We do not allow clinics to remove or suppress patient reviews. We do not publish success rate data without disclosing its source. We do not make treatment recommendations — our role is to give you the information to make your own decision with a specialist you trust.
